Trauma therapy
Trauma interventions, particularly those that are somatic based, capitalize on how God designed our bodies to heal, both emotionally and physiologically. They can help heal trauma, move people past that “stuck” feeling, decrease psychological symptoms, and eliminate performance & creativity barriers.
How do they work?
Trauma modalities help penetrate the dissociative barriers linked to traumas stored deep in the body, where they often are inaccessible to the conscious mind. A therapist assists clients in identifying underlying issues and somatic responses while maintaining the supportive emotional space through attunement and compassionate presence during the process. This allows the deeply held emotional and physiological symptoms to be profoundly processed and released in a safe and effective manner, so that they no longer “leak out” through means such as depression, anxiety, insecurities, procrastination, poor self-image, low motivation, etc.
Combined use of approaches such as somatic processing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Bible-based interventions can help you work through the issues that are causing distress in your life and relationships.

Renewal of your mind, knowledge of your identity in Christ, trust in His power!
Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21
“I wanted to improve my job focus and received so much more. In two short sessions, Carol helped me break through some mental blocks. Not only did my focus improve, but so did my sleep quality and my resting heart rate, which reduced by about 10 beats per minute.” ~Amy
“Trauma therapy is a great way to get over intense fears and phobias in a short time. It helped me get over my life long fear of shots.” ~PF
